ABOUT US

Home for Hope, Healing, and New Beginnings for Every Dog

Our team is made up of animal lovers, volunteers, veterinarians, and community leaders who believe that every dog deserves safety, respect, and a chance at a loving home. We work closely with shelters, township animal projects, and grassroots groups to reach dogs that are often overlooked—those living on the streets, chained in backyards, or suffering quietly without medical care.

Milestones we have achieved so far.

In just one year, Best friends Organisation has had a couple of interesting milestones pertaining to our goals, and we would appreciate if you come with us on this journey.

Milestone Update: 100 Dogs Safely Off the Streets

In just one year, Best friends Foundation has successfully rescued and rehabilitated 100 vulnerable dogs from streets, markets, and high-risk areas across our community. This milestone is more than a number it represents 100 individual lives moved from fear and hunger to safety, care, and hope.

Milestone: First Community Vet Day Successfully Completed

Last month, Best- Friends Foundation hosted our first Community Vet Day, providing free basic veterinary care to over 60 dogs from low-income households in Zimbabwe and Kenya. Guardians brought their dogs for vaccinations, deworming, parasite treatment, and health checks, many of them experiencing a vet visit for the very first time.

Milestone: 50 Dogs Sprayed and Neutered

Best- friends Foundation has successfully completed 50 spray and neuter surgeries for dogs in our care and in surrounding communities. Each procedure prevents countless unwanted litters, reducing the number of puppies born into hunger and danger on the streets.
